A sister in Christ from Vermont shared this short saying attributed to Corie Ten Boom. Even though the saying is impactful enough on its own, seeing that it was written by a survivor of a Nazi concentration camp gave it even more weight. What a reminder of the perspective and attitude we need to have! As I reflected on it, a tune began to form around the words. I set down to writing the tune to go with the words. As I sung it, I could hear in my mind voices singing this as a round, filling the air with music in my mind. After completion of the music, I felt it needed more. Based on Philippians 4:4-9, I added a couple of verses that support the assertion the saying makes.
